Formed in LA in the late 1970’s by lead singer Jack Russell and guitarist Mark Kendal, the blues-rock band Great White is renowned for their break through 1987 record ‘Once Bitten Twice Shy’. The track received critical acclaim which was reflected in the band’s Grammy Nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance for the song. The album of the same name received commercial success when it was first certified platinum in the US in 1988.
