Spooky Tooth aus Großbritannien spielten eine Art Blues-Rock mit zahlreichen Stilelementen aus Country, Pop und psychedelischen Einflüssen. Der Sound wurde vor allem bestimmt durch die effektvollen Vokalharmonien der beiden Sänger und den kraftvollen Einsatz der elektronischen Orgel sowie durch raffiniert eingesetzte (Hall)-Effekte. Viele Spooky Tooth-Songs sind auch deutlich von Gospel beeinflusst. Besonders die ausdrucksstarke Stimme Mike Harrisons entwickelte sich zu einem Markenzeichen der Band.

Das 9-CD-Set umfasst alle Island-Alben von Spooky Tooth, darunter »Supernatural Fairy Tales« von ART (wie sie ursprünglich hießen) und viele seltene und bisher unveröffentlichte Bonustracks, darunter auf CD 9 ein komplettes Konzert, das im April 1972 in Deutschland aufgenommen wurde. Begleitet wird die Box von einem 48-seitigem Buch.
