Derek Trucks: Roadsongs: Live auf 2 CDs

»Roadsongs« ist das neue Live-Doppel-Album von Derek Trucks. Nach seiner erfolgreichen CD »Already Free«, die 2009 sensationell auf Platz 19 in die amerikanischen Billboard-Charts einstieg und für die er Anfang 2010 mit einem Grammy in der Kategorie »Bestes Blues-Album« ausgezeichnet wurde, gehört Derek Trucks in die erste Riege der Top-Gitarristen. »Roadsongs« wurde an zwei Abenden in Chicago’s Park West aufgenommen. Auf dem Album sind einige der Derek Trucks Band-Klassiker zu hören, einige Stücke aus »Already Free«, Allen Toussaints »Get Out My Life Woman« und eine atemberaubende 14 Minuten-Version von »Afro Blue«.
