In 2006, vocalist / guitarist Mike Schedit announced the group's split after three albums. After a three-year hiatus that included member's involvement in the band Middian, Yob launched a triumphant return to form with this stellar release on Profound Lore. Recorded and produced by Sanford Parker, who has givenYob their best production / sounding album to date. The GreatCessation also sees Yob deliver their most varied soundingalbum. This 180g double vinyl comes wrapped in a foil-stampedgatefold sleeve. It comes with 2 additional tracks not released on the CD and is packaged in a gatefold, foil-stamped sleeve.
