»My Strong Will« ist ein neues Album »Äthiopischer Klassischer Musik« von Girma Yifrashewa. Aufgenommen mit bulgarischen Musikern und dem Soa Philharmonic Orchestra in Soa, Bulgarien, ist das Album eine Rückkehr an den Ort, an dem Yifrashewa in den späten 1980er und frühen 1990er Jahren seine eigene Konservatoriumsausbildung absolvierte, auf beiden Seiten des Falles des Kommunismus. Begleitet von Yifrashewas Klavierspiel bringen diese Kammermusikwerke die Musik Äthiopiens in ein westlich-klassisches Format und eröffnen beiden Traditionen neue meditative und emotionale Perspektiven.
